The Hive
The Hive is a lovely calm space for all children to use, who may be finding the classroom tricky or a challenging place and need support and reassurance before returning to class. The room is a sensory space with calming activities and a place to talk. With the support of staff, pupils are able to complete their work fully or when ready back in class. The Hive is also a safe space for all children to come and talk through their worries or concerns, plus celebrate their successes, supporting children's mental health is at the heart of The Thrive programme and is why The Hive was introduced. The room is also the space used for all children who are working through the Thrive Programme to work on their activities.
